Monastic Herbalist's Shop

MONASTIC HERBALIST'S SHOP in Farfa

The Abbey of Farfa's new Herbalist's shop has been completely renewed since 2011, from the furnishings to the choice of products, all coming from Italian and European monasteries, such as:

• Herbal teas;
• Ointments;
• Spirits;
• Honey;
• Jam.

The vegetable garden is being prepared with medicinal and aromatic herbs in order to acquire the necessities for the preparation by the monastic community of a workshop of locally prepared products, in resumption of a tradition that has been interrupted for some time.
